This illustration will be used for wedding invitations! The bride wanted the illustration to reflect her color theme for the wedding, as well as the flowers she chose. She also wanted to incorporate some of the herbs and plants that grow on the property where the wedding will take place. It was fun to do an illustration that is purely decorative!

Here is another illustration I did for Woman’s Day Magazine. I accompanies some text about “dinner party do’s and don’ts (like bringing your children to an all-adult dinner party!).I am including the sketch, the first pass at the final, and the final. WD thought my characters in the first pass looked too”lavish” for the the WD readership, so the second one includes characters that are more “middle America/middle income”.
